Yes. The volcanic soil in Kintamani is quite hard and abrasive, but JKR excavators (especially the SANY SY75C) are designed for hard materials. For hard volcanic rock breaking, we provide a hydraulic breaker (Rp 495rb/hour for SANY, Rp 400rb/hour for Kubota). Our operators are experienced in extreme soil conditions such as the Mount Batur foothills area.

In Bangli and Kintamani, JKR frequently handles: villa and hotel foundation excavation with Mount Batur views, cut and fill of contoured land on the caldera edge, hard volcanic rock breaking (breaker), agricultural irrigation and water channels, village road drainage, and tourism infrastructure in the Batur UNESCO Global Geopark area.

Kintamani has several unique challenges: (1) hard volcanic soil – requires a breaker for hard rock; (2) colder temperatures – requires more thorough engine preparation in the morning; (3) narrow roads to the caldera – Kubota U30 is more flexible; (4) altitude 1,000–1,700 meters above sea level – requires engine power calculation.
