How to Rent an Excavator in Bali: 6 Easy Steps & Everything You Need to Prepare
For some people, renting an excavator feels complicated — especially if it's the first time needing heavy equipment for a project. Questions like "What do I need to prepare?", "How much does it cost?", or "How does the process work?" often come up.
At Jiwa Karya Rental (JKR), we have simplified the rental process into 6 easy and transparent steps. No hidden fees, no complicated procedures. Here is the complete guide.
6 Steps to Rent an Excavator at JKR
Equipment Needs Consultation
Contact JKR via WhatsApp at 0877-8766-9088. Tell us the type of equipment needed, type of work (excavation, cut fill, bore pile, etc.), and estimated schedule. The JKR team will recommend the best unit for your project conditions.
Send Location & Job Details
Provide the project location (you can send a Google Maps pin), road access width, soil type, estimated work volume, and required duration. This information is important to determine the right unit and calculate mobilization costs.
Confirm Unit, Price & Schedule
The JKR team provides a transparent price quote: price per hour, mobilization estimate, and other cost components. Unit, price, and schedule are confirmed together before work begins.
Prepare Project PIC's KTP
Before the unit is delivered, prepare the project PIC's KTP for rental administration purposes. This is the only document required — no complicated additional documents.
Verification & JKR Team Coordination
The JKR team verifies data, coordinates the operator, prepares the unit, and plans the mobilization route. You will be confirmed the estimated arrival time of the unit at the project site.
Unit Delivered to Project Site
The excavator with an experienced operator arrives on schedule. The operator coordinates directly with your project supervisor. Work begins according to instructions.
What to Prepare at the Project Site
To ensure smooth work, make sure the following are prepared before the unit arrives:
- Sufficient entry access: Minimum 3 meters for SANY SY75C, minimum 1,55 meters (width of unit) for Kubota U30
- Lowbed parking area: The lowbed truck carrying the excavator needs sufficient unloading area
- Location clearly marked: The work area has been marked or cordoned off for time efficiency
- Person-in-charge on site: There is a supervisor or project owner who can coordinate directly with the operator
- ID card (KTP) ready: Photocopy of the project PIC's ID card (KTP)
